Backup your EFS Folder if you have rooted and customizing your mobile.

Ways to backup the folder

Root Explorer
Nandroid
[HOW TO] /efs Folder backup + Restore NV_DATA.BIN - xda-developers

Do not check "Clear Phone EFS" in Odin

nv_data.bin (Hold's IMEI Information, Carrier connection information)

Without EFS you wont have any Sim Signal or IMEI

I'm not sure on how to change imei in the nv_data.bin. But if you grab the file from another phone and edit it with your imei you can have your imei back and your sim fully functional. The best thing to do is backup your original one right after you have rooted.

I know a guy with access to all Samsung firmware.

I can root, Jailbreak

I don't even have a i9100 yet and I got this information so when I do get one it will be sweet

this dont work on my i9100 but I am sure it works on the older i9000.
