Samsung Galaxy note 4 Access data with broken screen it's Possible ?

Hi guys.

I'm trying to retrieve some important messages from my old phone that has no screen.

The phone is working and ive managed to use a mhl lead to pull a picture up on the TV, but im hoping someone might have a ingenious idea on how i can use the mhl lead AND a wireless mouse...?

I can't seem to find any 11 pin dual leads.

I did try to boot into download mode to use some piece of software i stumbled on that promised to recover everything, but the phone just keeps vibrating as i hold the key combination so I'm assuming it just keeps restarting.

Can anyone help??
