tmobile note 3 on metro pcs only showing E⬆⬇ (imei changed)

Hi everyone I'm not sure if this is the right place to post t his but I have a issue and I'm seeking help I have a tmobile branded note 3 that I'm using on metro pcs I purchased it a few weeks ago and the seller failed to mention that he didn't pay the phone off so last week it was blocked by tmobile so a few days ago I took it to a store to get it fixed and it seems they changed the imei in the phone so it's back working but I'm no longer getting 4g or 3g it only shows E it's to slow to even download from the market so I'm wondering if it's something I can do from home to fix this problem or if it's best to take it back to the store I'm fairly tech savy so all suggestions are welcomed.

Whoever did the imei repair didn't finish the last few steps to insure a solid 4G LTE signal, just take it back and have him fix it, it's a common error 4 many who r not familiar with how to correctly do imei repair on the Note 3

Marcvampir did you call MetroPCS and do device change? Tell them u have unlocked Android phone..Give them SIM ID and new IMEI.

You can't tell METROPCS you have a T-Mobile Note 3, reason is they now share same data base so what happens is they look up the imei and see that it's not in inventory and that u will now have to go to local metro store and register which is all a.waste of time...soooo since super IMEI that was written on2 your device shows up as an international N9005....so u just tell them you have an unlocked Android phone and they added to BYOD list..problem solved..If your going to a store to added take the sticker off the back
