Want to change IMEI of Galaxy S3 - GSM-Forum

Hey guys,

i want to change the IMEI of my Galaxy S3. Its not stolen. i have the invoice etc.

The point is, i want to travel to turkey for a while and there my phone get locked after 1 month if i dont pay ~100$.

So my grandpa brang me an old nokia 6610i from turkey.

My question is: is it possible to use the imei of the nokia without having problems with google play, sim card etc?

Secound question: first thing i have to do is to save the efs folder. Efs pro isnt working correctly. can i just make a copy of the efs folder? After done that. which app do i need to use to create a proper efs file for my galaxy s3?

ur device must be rooted then set is must be in diag mode after this use z3x box read info then repear change imei u want and ok

if i buy the z3x, do i buy more like any credits etc to use z3x?
3 more questions:

what else can i do with the z3x box?
can i "modifiy" (hopfully) all up comming samsung htc, lg, (more) phones?
can i change the imei of an galaxy s4 or even unlock it? (4.3 is now rootable, xda dev / i9500, cant post link)

no need credits to repair imei with z3x. just one time "samsung activation" and you will be able to use unlimited time.

z3x samsung box is the one of the best tool to repair samsung mobiles and constantly gives support to new models and new firmwares.

btw, changing imei is illegal. its just for repairing original imeis.

Z3x is best samsung tool u can unlock all samsung phones abd flash ,imei repair .in support you have all pgones firmware

Is there any chance of repairing imei in s3 and having official software after it ?
Because on rooted phone , is no possible to get any samsung updates.

Use EFS professional to backup your IMEI

Also, do not try to put a different IMEI into your S3, leave Nokia IMEI where is it.
