In Power Off condition, Press & Hold "Volume Down key" & "Power key" together with your left hand.

When the LED at the bottom of the phone lights up, touch & hold the "menu" key with your right hand

Menu key should be pressed immediately before the screen displays the LG logo.

Make sure that your left hand is still holding the "Vol Down" & "power"

Release the Power key, when phone vibrates.

When LG logo is displayed, then continue to hold other keys for about two seconds , & then release all

keys at the same time, before the LG logo dispapeares.

Leave the phone for a minute to allow the hard reset to take place. after that phone will reboot.

thanx edcentec
guys instructions are correct as given by edcentec.
it worked flawlessly to my handset so just follow as it says & just remember what user "cartuchobahia" says is right don't confuse yourself with "middle button" & "menu key" whch right hand side lighted sensor key. so just try it & everything will be fine.
