Ipad a1475 adt account

Hi

i have Ipad A1475 asks "LOG IN TO ADT LLC"
i googled about this and found this is home/business security app

this ipad came to me in recovery mode and after update shows this account
customer don't have an account to log in

i just want to know that is this app is same like apple id password ? can't remove ?
is only way need to contact apple service?

This is not like icloud , this is MDM Service.
This can be remove but personally i have tried on one ipad air and it failed :P
This lock works by installing a profile in your device which link the device with developer account of that company or school who issued the device.
Usually these sort of the devices come out from Schools who install these sort of profiles so students can use the device for education purpose only.
The post is quit old , kindly let me know if u still want to know how the removal can be process , but as i already said it didn't work for me.
