Iphone Icloud OFF but FMI ON - GSM-Forum

Hello
I bought an IPhone that has icloud off but FMI still linked to an email address that i don't have access.

Is ok to sign in with new icloud account? Will this remove the FMI?

Just give it back to the guy you bought from,just in case you restore the device you'll get activation lock message.I've got such **** and apple is not going to help.

actually if you have access to the passcode you can unlock icloud even if you dont know the icloud password, after a restore just put the passcode and that's it

Worked for me.

Unlock with Passcode option come only with Account enabled 2FA. This options appears very rarely. So do it on your risk because you can end up with a activation locked device.
