Hard reset for NOKIA windows phones


HARD RESET FOR ONLY NOKIA WP8 DEVICES TIPS [

* Hard Reset: Press two keys (Volume down and Power) together. When Handset vibrates, first release the power key and then Volume down. After that Handset will restart. (Consumer Data will not be erased)

* Reset your Phone: Go to Start Screen>> Application List>> Settings>> About>> “Reset your phone”. (In this case, Consumer Data will be completely erased)

* Phone Update: This feature can be used to update the SW of WP8 devices using Wi-Fi, if any new SW is available. It can done from Start Screen>> Application List>> Settings>> phone update. (For new SW update)

* OS Reset: Make Sure the charger is disconnected from Device.

1. Switch the power off.

2.Press and hold the Volume down and connect the charger, if succeed an exclamation mark (!) is shown on the screen.


Then press following keys in this order:
1. Volume up
2. Volume down
3. Power
4. Volume down
Phone will reset and boot up automatically. Please note that this may take several minutes.
(In this case, Consumer Data will be completely erased)



Note: Put the Handset on charging for minimum 30 minute, incase of Dead. Attempt 3-4 times for Hard reset, incase Handset is not getting switched on. In the last you should try with OS Reset option, but remember that Data will be erased.
