Hi Guyz

my lumia 710 Asking for PUK code Instead Of Enter Unlock Pin

On My sim PUK Not Active , I tried my sim PUK code and Unlock code (recieved via Server) but Always Incorrect PUK

Counter Remain to 8 worried about

Any Special Unlocking instruction for this ,pls Guide

Try with a different sim card: the puk code is related to the sim

yes sir i know its related to sim but on another phone my sim not asking for PUK ??????

same problem again with another set ?

still cant find any way to resolve both !

tried with many sim . no luck

any better idea ??????????

it asks for puk, because someone entered wrong unlock code too often. wp7 devices have a puk to unblock counter for unlock code, like mck in samsung phones

On WP7:

- PIN refers to simlock unlock code (8 digits), 10 tries allowed
- PUK refers to simlock unblock code (10 digits), 32 tries allowed

PIN can be provided by network, PUK nobody can provide. Off course there
is solution to repair this, but not public.

OP if you are in the UK maybe can bring me the phone to fix for you.

Well, can't help you for now. But maybe good idea to keep the phone and wait. Who knows
one night might get drunk enough and just release it free.

- PUK refers to simlock unblock code (8 digits) you can use if the counter is blocked

you mean to say that unlock code provider can also provide PUK for the same imei ???

Thanks for the info. I honestly hear for the first time that Networks can
provide unblock codes as well. Happy for your that you can steal them.
