Member: 1770781 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Dell Latitude E5500 - is there a way to change service tag nr? Hello, In my office, a dell E5550 notebook should get a new installation by network boot. It was lent to us by our branch office in another town. Alas, if I order "new installation" it will be installed to the wrong branch office. So I want to use a service tag nr which fits to our office. The problem is - how can I bring the new nr into the bios? Maybe the whole bios must be resetted by an wire. But I found no instruction for this notebook. If someone can help me, I can transfer some $ for appreciation. |
