Hello,
In my office, a dell E5550 notebook should get a new installation by network boot. It was lent to us by our branch office in another town.
Alas, if I order "new installation" it will be installed to the wrong branch office. So I want to use a service tag nr which fits to our office.
The problem is - how can I bring the new nr into the bios?
Maybe the whole bios must be resetted by an wire. But I found no instruction for this notebook.
If someone can help me, I can transfer some $ for appreciation.

I think there isn't possible to change Service Tag number. There was some software to delete Service Tag but I can't remember what.....

Sorry but that model is not supported yet for free

If you have warranty contact with Dell Support - they help you......

if you don't have - look here: Laptop bios unlock you get password here for $65
