HTC Desire Z JTAG pinout needed - GSM-Forum

Anyone has JTAG pinout for HTC Desire Z / Vision? I have one with dead hboot, so the only way to fix it is by JTAG, but I couldn`t find the pinout.

if someone has the pinout and wants to share it - I would appreciate it!

This phone use an msm7230 cpu and the voltage used by it I guess that is 2,6Vcc.
You can search it by probe function in riffbox or by multimetter in comparation with another known jtag like is for example wildfire,desire and for other that use logical i/o 2,6Vcc.
In many phones that I found the jtag pins without desolder the cpu this was the nearly value that was the same at all:
trst-0
tdi-2,6
tms-2,6
tck-2,6
rtck-0,04
tdo-0.04

Also post here the picture from both sides of the pcb.

Sorry I analised carefully the picture and I have no idea about jtag pinout

I had also an desire hd but I didn't had enough time to test it for make an idea on how to find the jtag pins.
In short time I'll reply by pm of what I descovered.

just google, you have firmwares everywhere, you only have to check whether it`s a european or USA version

and how many combination u try to find the exact Pin and get phone connected, since 3 have 2.6 and 2 have 0.04v?

Hi,
this method also depends by the user experience,on how the points are located on pcb and other factors.
For example I've descovered the jtag pinout for htc hd mini from the first connection.
