Member: 1012778 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 245 | HTC One X black screen I have 1 HTC One-X here with complete black screen. The customer changed the LCD because it was broken. (only the glass). The strange thing is, the screen worked suddenly after i pressed many times the power-button, but only 1 time. Now is the screen completely black and i can't see anything (also not with good light from outside). I don't think that the backlight is the problem. I changed already the 2R2 coil and checked the complete Backlight-Driver circuit before. I can hear the sounds and the phone seems to work and the pc detect it normally. What can this be? reball the nVidia CPU? BR Matthias |

Member: 1959645 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hi, did anyone find a solution to this problem? I am in a similar situation replacing the lcd. As i put in the new lcd i tested it and it worked a couple of times but once id almost fully reassembled the phone i tested it again and now all i get is a black screen (but lights and vibration are working). I already tried disconnecting and reconnecting the cables. Any info or advice for things to try on this would be great thanks!! |

BUT for rookies: DO NOT REHEAT the nVidia CPU before: 1. make sure that the LCD is functional (try with 2 diffent LCDs) 2. make sure that the LCD connnector is in good condition 3. reflash the phone 4. replace the 2R2 coil on MB 5. if 1,2,3&4 wasn't working then reheat/rebll nVidia CPU | |

Member: 1978377 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Hi. I did a test today that worked. I have this issue and i tried everything. If i boot my phone keeping the GPU pressed down hard the LCD works. Do not use your hands, i used the rear part of a screw driver. Pay attention to not destroy rear camera. I put it on a box. Cover GPU with the something to not ruin it. Now, does anybody have a suggestion ? I need to rehaer or reball but i don't have these type of skills. Of course it can't be used this way. I acutally hurt my hands pushing over and over on CPU. |
