LG G5 VS987 no download mode [Answered]


Hello,
I have LG G5 VS987 hang on lg screen, I tried to flash firmware but I can't access download mode, it boot to fastboot mode, Please help

Hello.

If your phone doesn't go to into Download mode, you can try to repair your device with any software which support eMMC.

lg phones can be flashed in download mode and the file resposinble for that is the laf partition so if its corrupted or missing it wont go to download mode so the only option left is to write firmware from emmc jtag which all boxes that repair emmc support this feature

Thank for reply, so I can't flash laf partition using fastboot? and I have Octoplus Pro JTAG but I haven't pinout, please help

I found method to flash laf.img in fastboot but I don't know if it will damage phone or not. Please help
