Octoplus/Octopus Box LG Software version 2.9.1 is out!
Added custom flashing and more!
Octoplus/Octopus Box LG Software v.2.9.1 Release Notes:
🐙 Released custom flashing possibility for MTK and Qualcomm CPU-based devices (supported "*.dz", "*.kdz", "*.oct" firmwares with LAF partition). From now on, you can select firmware file, select (mark) partitions that you want to write, and write only these selected partitions! Also, added possibility to skip formatting Userdata before flashing firmware.

The sequence of writing firmware:
  1. Select firmware file.
  2. Press "Write firmware" button.
  3. Connect the device (put it into Download Mode) according to Software instructions (prompts).
  4. In the appearing window select (mark) necessary partitions that you want to write, and press "Write" button.
  5. Skip or allow formatting Userdata and continue the operation.

🐙 Added support for the following models:


- G710PM - added Write Firmware ("*.kdz", "*.oct"), Read/Write QCN, Read/Write NVM, Reset FRP (via TP) (thanks to Mr. ahmertelecom)
- LMX410EO - added Read Codes (works for Android 7.x firmware only), Write Firmware
- LMX410EOW - added Read Codes (works for Android 7.x firmware only), Write Firmware
- LMX410FC - added Read Codes (works for Android 7.x firmware only), Write Firmware (thanks to Mr. maxpatri9)
- LMX410FO - added Read Codes (works for Android 7.x firmware only), Write Firmware
- LMX410NCW - added Read Codes (works for Android 7.x firmware only), Write Firmware
- LMX410YCW - added Read Codes (works for Android 7.x firmware only), Write Firmware
- F750K - added Factory Reset (thanks to Mr. lerner_)

🐙 Improved "Unlock" operation for M153.

🐙 Improved "Write EEPROM" operation for MTK CPUs-based devices.


🐙 All supported operations are described in details in Software manual ("Cable & Manual" button in Software)

On this update, do you added FLASH LG M150, M153, M154?
Because we get error en gpt partition.....

What the error You get exactly? Create new thread and post there full Software log with all of performed operations, we will check.

Remember sir, ATT, Cricket and Sprint/Boost Mobile host lg KDZ firmwares on their own servers, u cant flash TOT files on these devices

so, can I read older modem and carrier partitions from a phone and write to a newest one?
Will be great for Sprint Lg phones with new security for unlock...

Im trying right now with ls777 trying to write modem and carrier extracted from ZV6 and get error flashing desired partitions also after that phone stuck in download mode

Second try with ZV7 partitions but get same error

NOTE: im trying this at my own risk, long time i was waiting an update like this bu for my bad no work as i expected but any way is a GREAT UPDATE from Octoplus team.


Im gonna still trying with ls777, got many pieces with different versions from ZV9 to ZVF, already done many pieces via EMMC with medusa pro, this update give me some hope to avoid keep burning my eyes jejejejeje

For What is LAF Partition?? What happens if I flash an LG Rom without this partition? Who evades LAF?
