Unlock / Hack CDMA lock on Huawei A199 - GSM-Forum

Dear fellow members,

I just purchased a Huawei A199 from AliExpress and i was made convinced that the phone isn't locked... when it arrived, i found out that the CDMA is locked to China Telecom and it was too late for me to get a refund from the seller...

I tried to look everywhere to unlock my phone and i finally found a Huawei Engineer to help me unlock the CDMA.. i was told that he used CDMA workshop to edit NV items and QSPT items...

After using the phone for 1 day.. a few apps update prompt came up and i proceed to update the apps (SuperSU, Google Search), then after a reboot, the phone was suddenly locked again and unable to read my CDMA SIM...

I would be deeply thankful if anybody could assist me by showing the software and steps to unlock my Huawei A199 CDMA again..

arek28 it is a good news that you have made it worked. do you mind sharing how to get it unlocked in the first place? thanks.
