Apples releases HomePod 13.2.1 update






Apple has released HomePod software update 13.2.1. The update should fix an issue with iOS 13.2 that led to the bricking of some devices.

To install the update, launch the
Home
app. Tap the Home button button at the top left of your screen and choose
Software Update
. If you have multiple homes set up, you'll need to tap the Home button, choose
Home Settings
, select your current home, then choose
Software Update



To update your HomePod using an iOS device


Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to the latest version of iOS. Then:
  • Launch the Home app.
  • Tap the Home icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
  • Tap Software Update.
  • Tap Install once the update appears.
To update your HomePod using a Mac

With a Mac running macOS 10.4 Mojave or later:
  • Launch the Home app.
  • Click the Edit menu.
  • Select Edit Home…
  • Click Software Update.
  • Click Install.
