salam to all
i had problem to sync with iyune , and when i did clean the hosts on my pc : removed all where is mentionned apple things,, on : C:\ windows/system32/drivers/etc .
I did restore my iphone via itune with a new fw 4.2 and i did kicked recovery mode with tinyumbrella ,its works fine , and now i unlocked my iphone 3g via repo.ultrasn0w.com 1.2 .
all working fine , thanks to all for the hard job they done to make it easy for everyone ,

i have solved the error 1015 while restore by tiny umberlla many times ,,,, escpecially in the case of v4.2.1 ...the phone have updated (moderm firmware lover than 06.15 or the custome ralready tried to unlock)

Errors 10xx: This mostly means that the baseband was not updated. This is what you want to not lose your unlock.

If you have upgraded your baseband to the version included with iOS 4.1 already, you cannot unlock, but you can use the iPad baseband trick (install baseband 6.15 from iPad). It is NOT recommended to upgrade your baseband if you have still the one from iOS 4.0.2 or older.

Please note that "Exit Recovery" (by any tool) only works with iOS 4.1 or lower. For 4.2.1 the Kick out of Recovery does not work. Either you upgrade the baseband (which avoids the error message and boots normal), or you use unsupported methods to upgrade to 4.2.1.

4.2.1 is still tethered anyway, which means you need a computer to boot your device every time you turn it off or battery is empty.

Users that need an unlock or don't want a tethered boot should remain with their current version until something better comes out.

Tell us what you're doing. What firmware versions are installed, what version you try to install and how, what is in your hosts file, what shsh versions are on Cydia etc.

Then probably you have no songs in that iTunes.
Or you disabled to sync songs. Check the Music tab when you select your iPhone.
If it still doesn't work, ask Apple.
