The problem is that when i do all the process, it does not read the sim and does not ask for the pin.

I read that i needed the code to unlock it...

How can i do it without the code?

Your problem is your R-SIM 8 is broken. The chip is very fragile. If it does not read SIM and pull up carrier menu, it is broken. You need another one. I recommend R-SIM 9 Pro.

The issue is that it promts up the menu but does not read the sim...

I had tons of R-SIM 8 that did that. I think the tail is bent, so it causes a lot of misreads. Even if you save that chip by straightening it out, it's still gonna show Invalid SIM down the line. Replace it immediately.

If as you said the menu shows up then try to dfu your iphone reload the ios and start from scratch and see what happens.
