Dongle Update to 9.8--Need Code - GSM-Forum

I purchased two active codes from resellers, but they don't work. I receive the message, "Active Code Invalid." Has anyone successfully updated their Mini or Mini 2 to 9.8 and could sell me a code? Thank you.

Just try few times with the codes that you have, and restart few times updater , run it as admin , if you still have problems write me PM, I have codes , but I have same problems from time to time, my codes are 100 % working , but some times I get same error.

the activation code for dongle to update the mini or mini2 is a 20 digital series of numbers. please check first.

SIM just try a new code and you should be good to go. the code you got is good but hitting the download button on the software many times will show the active code.

Thanks. It seems after 5 minutes, the code is no longer valid. I also couldn't upgrade Air 2 to 9.8, only Mini to 9.8. At least I did one update with 5 codes. Thanks.

I checked the site and air 2 has a different dongle than the mini while air 2 is a red dongle and the mini is blue so the code will work for both chips but with a different dongle.

Also I have both dongles and have updated more than 100 chips on both of them without any problem.

Has anyone had an error saying "Failed to set data for 'd'" when hitting the download button? I am using a RED Dongle, with Air 2, and the light is RED and device manager is opened with no problems with the port installation

The Air2 9.0 will work on Sprint 5S/5C and presumably AT&T/TMobile 5S/5C, but the lower versions like 8.9 and 1.0 might not work with the jailbreak and might be unstable. You don't need to update some of them if they can unlock with iFile.

If it's on the latest version then what is the need of updating the application on the chip, just wasting of your code and money.
