r sim 9pro works, everything but imessage work.

Is there any way I could activate it w/o original sim ? I'm stuck on activation mode

yes you can activate it without the original sim card using the rsim and any other sim card with it.

It's already confirmed that rsim doesn't work with Sprint 5s.

Put the sim card from a different carrier by itself first and wait for the phone to say activation then take it out and put it with the rsim and now it should be good to go through.
