hi, I have unlocked iphone 4s with r-sim mini.
I now have a problem.
gives me invalid sim with operator 3 Italy (3 Italy is umts)
because I do not recognize the USIM??

The problem may be solved if you update rsim mini with the v9.1.

I also have an r-sim mini( not mini+). However I upgraded it to v9.1, and now it appears as" r-sim mini + v9.1" . Probably they are the same and is a selling trick... You have to have the dongle and an upgrade code. The code should be given from the supplier you bought r-sim mini. The first one is free , as they say on the site, however some sellers may charge you for it.. If you get the dongle( usb sim card reader) then we can talk again..

I had same issue but after upgrading rsim mini to v9.1 it is gone.. No sure that will work on your occasion , however in v9.1 changelog states that it fixes the "invalid card" issue on some UK operators. Maybe does on Spain operators too... If this sim card gets signal without R-sim ( however goes to activation screen) then it is an R-sim issue. If you get invalid sim without r-sim then you should contact your carrier yo provide you a different type of sim

Only umts means only 3g? If so then it depends of the sim card capacity. It has to be 64k or less...

64k seems to be able to get 3g at the moment without patch (i think so..) . 128k and higher work only with ir0se patch which forces 2g situation. Right now I am having only 2g signal and when I activate "data" I am able only to get "edge"
