Question How Do you get 4G ICON to Appear?

I have had many iPhones which have been unlocked with a mix of SIMS and techniques. I have only had luck getting 4G to appear on old iOS 5, and iOS 6, but never iOS 7. One thing I have seen on the forums are people that claim that the 3G icon changes to 4G on iOS 7 once they activate it properly. Can someone elaborate on this?

I have properly activated iPhone 4S Sprint to T-Mobile 39.01a by neterteam repo and using iRoseTool, but I haven't had any luck with 4G to appear.

What about a AT&T iPhone 5 or 5S running the old 64K Tmobile 39.01a? Is that possible?

It's automatic after you change the bundle from Sprint or AT&T to T-Mobile as of three weeks ago. It's something that T-Mobile updated in their carrier bundle. Same exact speed but just says 4G instead of 3G as soon you redirect 310120 or 310410 to TMobile_US.bundle.

SIMTester- Do you mean RENAME the folder name from 310120 or 310410 to TMobile_US.bundle?

No, click on the (i) next to it and just change ATT_US.bundle or Sprint_LTE_US.bundle to T-Mobile_US.bundle under Link Target.
