r-sim mini & KDDI AU i5 & i5s 7.0.4 - GSM-Forum

hello all,

i have japanese kddi au iphone 5 and iphone 5s, both are 7.0.4 and jailbraked.
recently bought r-sim mini+ and it seems to be original cause i able pass test on their web site with s/n on package.

after inserting r-sim with another sim, choosing from menu i5/i5s, japanese kddi, rebooting and have popup error "SIM Failure" and "Invalid SIM" in status bar.

no calls, sms, inet.

international cdma is off.

i've tried to install from samsim repo cdma patch, r-sim ios 7 5s/5c/5 in all combinations and have "no service" even with original AU sim card.
i still able to use original au sim after uninstalling all patches.

any advises?

Try looking around for a different IMSI for the KDDI AU and enter it through the settings. If it doesn't work, I'm assuming that it might be the sim-card instead of the IMSI. If anything borrow someone else's SIM and see if it works.

If you want, put in an original sim and use iTools to find out your IMSI.

i've tried other imsi and iphone always goes to activation mode.
sim card is working in sw unlocked 3gs

Have you tried to use a different sim for the carrier youre attempting to get onto? It might be the r-sim itself.

I have the same problem too. I tried to use r sim 8 on iphone 5 with ios 7.0.4 and it did not worked well. I follow the instruction. I chose the menu then I restart it. THen the phone shows searching and then ROAMING then invalid sim. Arghh it is frustrated because I did restore the phone many times and did the same process but failed. Anyone please help us.
