Member: 1658728 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | R-sim mini+ and t-mobile us. Cant get 3g.. Pls Help!! I have a locked T-mobile Us iphone 5c, and a R-sim Mini+. I am trying to unlock it to use Vodafone Pt network. I can get it to unlock and get the Vodafone signal and i get 2G internet(E sign, or GPRS), but cant get it to work on 3G sign. I tried it with and without jailbreak. This is what i did. Inserted R-sim and Vodafone sim card. Went to sim sim menu and clicked on carrier select. Choose T-mobile Us. Rebooted. Went to unlockit."something" and created APN with vodafone carrier Download the IRosetool Clicked on force3g. Rebooted. With signal, but cant even make a call. It only work if i select force2g. I can make calls and go online but the speed is very slow. I also have a 4s and the internet was way, way faster.. As that didnt work, i restored the iphone and jailbreak it. Did the same thing but after instaling the APN i tryied to something diferent. Instaled repo isamsim and tried either the I:CMDA patch, or the A:r-sim, and the L:5.5s.5c in diferent combinations as i was not sure what i should do or install. After that went on to instal irosetool and tried force3g with the same results. Can anyone help me connect th 3g on my phone? Thank you in advance.. |

Member: 1658728 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I dont know what type of sim i have. It is a brand new one, as i had a 4s before, and the sim was mini. I went to the vodafone shop and they gave me a new one nano size.. How can i know if it is 128k or not? I tried to install the H from the isamsim, but without luck. I previously uninstalled the A and installed the H, installed the irosetool, but it is still all the same.. Any more ideas?? Thank you |

Very old SIM cards(unactivated) work the best to get 3G with R-SIM. Use a nano SIM cutter and hope it works. |
