R-sim mini update with dongle help!! - GSM-Forum

Hello ,

I have R-sim mini ( not r-sim mini+ ) and I want to update it through the usb dongle. I just want to ask which version should I go for,
v9.0 or v9.1? on r-sim site says that v9.1 is for the rsim mini + , but on the description claims that it "fixes" invalid sim problem on some UK phones, something which happens to me at random times the last few days. I would like to install the v9.1 but I need someone to confirm that this will not brick my r-sim mini. currently have my rsim on v8.8 . Has anyone updated succesfully rsim mini ( NOT mini+ ) to v9.1?

You have to get the active code from your supplier. He may give it to you free or you may have to pay for it and it can be used once. Every time you would like to update rsim you need to pay for a code. In other words , we will always have to pay for codes if future updates solve issues that we are encountering..
