ta-1165 help please


hi
I'm trying to reset ta-1165
i entered it in diag mode
then clicked on factory reset but no luck


Start Detect phone.
With powered off phone, insert usb cable
Detected: SPRD U2S Diag (COM46)
Port opened ok.
Error untill swithing to diag.
Done.


Action: Reset Phone.
Detecting phone, wait...
Using Custom port...
Detected: SPRD U2S Diag (COM46)
Error Open Port.
Done.


how to fix this please

If phone can't enter in diag, posible phone have some problem.
You must solve first phone problems and after use diag functions.

thx for answer but i can run the phone and it's working well
it's asking for paatern and i need to format it but it doesn't allow it when i go on recovery it gives no commands
i tried all buttonf combination but no luck

To enter in diag mode, not need to press any buttons.
Need only to insert cable when exe asking about.
And wait untill exe restart phone to diag mode, this can take 2-10 sec.
After you can use needed opperation.

Based on your log, you not use latest exe.
In this case, you must wait manually untill phone will restart in diag mode.
In phones with new cpu, after swich to diag com post will disapair and after some time(2-10 sec) will come back.
You can see this in exe status bar, how com post disapair and after come back.
If you will press any button just after swith to diag, you will get error.
New exe wait for phone to restart on diag, on old exe you must do this manually.

I updated to the last exe but same issue and yes i kept waiting for more than 5 minutes and still have the same issue
I will tomorrow post the log with the last update

I'am checked forum logs for this phone, this model not have trouble with diag mode, it connect easy.
You do some wrong, try to check drivers in device manager.
If phone com port will be marked with ! will be also problem with connecting phone.

Inside instalation directory, you have a folder called "Unsioc_Drivers".
You must reinstall driver only if your installed driver create conflict.
If driver work ok, not need to do this.
But even in this case, simple driver reinstaling will not work.
Will need first to check and solve driver conflict from device manager, if this exists.

yes i can see it's recognized by computer in device manager but it failes to switch to diag mode
maybe there is a problem with the device or there is an update locked the process of switching to diag mode
