Even teoreticly is not posible to happen this.
In this phones preloader is in another partition, and even by mistake is not posible to erase preloader.
Will be better if you will tell what exactly happen with your phone.

Incase anyone is still struggling to repair imei, i MANAGED to repair it using this

SN_Write_Tool_v1.1828.00 and the database files Infinix X5515 Smart 2 DB (X5515-H398DEG-GO-180810V158) for my case but you can go here https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-23850.html and choose APDB & BPLGU / MDDB of your Build.

Exe now load auto auth file for this phone, and this thread is very old and outdated.
