samsung A887 Sim lock - GSM-Forum

HI everyone, this is my first post so bare with me. I have been reading and searching for hours trying to understand how to repair my A887. My problem is I was washing my truck when my phone fell into a bucket of suds. I took it out fast and dried it. It will power up and everything works ok but now it says no sim. I have AT&T service on the phone. I'm pretty sure the sim card is broken now. I have another phone that is t mobile. My problem is when I put the T mobile sim card in it says its locked and needs a 8 digit code. It shows I have 10 tries before it locks up. Could someone help me with this code? I have the IMEI number. Understand that's what is needed to find code. Thank you and *** bless
