Finding SIM Toolkit Apps on a SIM card - GSM-Forum

I'm posting to this forum because it would seem that the first step to reverse engineering a SIM Toolkit app would be finding it on the card. I've written some C# code that scans a SIM card to find all files (MF, DF's, EF's) and then retrieves the files and displays the file tree and and shows their contents in hex. But so far I'm only finding the standard known files for the cards I've scanned.

Where I don't have a clue is trying to identify any applications that may be on the card. Is there a table of application AIDs? If so, does it have a file name (like '3F00/7F10/6F3A', for instance)? Do the applications show up in the file structure? If so, do they show up in the tree in a known range of addresses? What is the signature of the first/last bytes in an app? Am I asking the wrong questions?
