Help me program PIC 12c509A please...


Please help me on Program PIC 12c509A for making Samsung Clip. I program it by LabTool 48 but it always display this message:
"Warning: Because the device's highest program memory space is not blank, so this location will not be programed"
Let me know how can program it. All help are welcome.

It's normal message when you program OTP parts of PIC 12cxx processors.

Last cell contains calibration value (factory calculated and recordered there) for the internal oscilator, so programmer reads that cell and finds not equal to FF (blank) and refuses to f-uck calibration value.

PIC gets programmed anyway, the only thing that programmer don't mess is calibation value.

Put the PIC into programmer and try to do "Blank Check" to see if the PIC is still blank. If it's not blank then you have already programmed it. If it's blank and your soft refuses to program it then change programming software and/or programmer device.

I use MPLAB IDE SW and PicStart Plus HW from Microchip(tm) and have no problems at all with any PIC.

Talking Easy PIC Programming

Follow Steps:-

1) Make JDM Programmer.
2) Use IC-Prog.

Easy isnt it !!!!!!!!
