Hexagon QDSPV5A Reverse Engineering

Hey Guys,

I'm looking to change the way Qualcomm handles read only parts of NV.

I've successfully loaded the modemdotelf file into IDA however when I go to my string of interest IDA gets confused and it just shows up incorrectly.

If anyone has any input that would be awesome.

Things to check:

-Did you select the correct core?
-Did you correctly identify and define all subs?
-Are you familiar with xrefs?
-Did you use IDA before?

If the answer to any of these is NO, then thats what you need to do.

Also, to check strings, you can just use bash and type "strings filename". No need for expensive IDA for that.
