Member: 6877 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Siemens:which C166 processor core really used??(&more questions) Some help required Can someone tell me which 80C16x core used in E-Gold chip set?(in C35i moble for example).Of course this is not 80C166 exactly but which C16x core best(or maybe exactly???) matches with E-Gold?I'd read doc's about a lots of C16x cores but there is some periferial registers(ESFR's) which is not documented for C16x cores(this fact learned from bootloaders disassembly) :\ Also I'm looking for firmware addressing information. Can someone tell me where firmware located in 16Mb addr.space? Also it is damn nice to know where is entry point and where on-chip ROM code located while firmware running\when just starting-up.I think ROM code running 1-st and then it launches firmware in flash-ROM?? |
