Red face Help!! Newbie!!! BB Pearl 8130 ESN Change CDMA WORKSHOP 3.6

Help!! Newbie!!! BB Pearl 8130 ESN Change CDMA WORKSHOP 3.6 I am trying to write a new esn to a verizon cdma blackberry perl. I was able to get the esn locations using the direct ram method successfully and saved to a file. Then, when I entered the new ESN-MetroPCS>>
MEID Dec: 268435457412523936
MEID Hex: A000000EBF19A0
pESN Hex: 803DC36E

and I also tried with my Sprint ESN>>>
MEID Dec: 268435456503878412
MEID Hex: A00000053B2E0C
pESN Hex: 80270BD4

and choose Universal, RAM Method >>>Write >>> Load ESN address from a file and change ESN. It does not write the ESN that I specified but writes 0x00000000 as the ESN. Both Sprint and MetroPCS ESN's had the same result when trying to write >>> Success, ESN successfully has been changed to 0x00000000 Use Default (nv_write method now to write necessary ESN. I tried both the Default nv_write and the Universal RAM method with the same result. The spc is 000000 which works and I put in the phone in offline-d. Also, I can write A1A1A1A1 as the ESN, but none of my valid ESN's. If I try the default nv_write method with one of my valid ESN's, I get a Failed ESN has not changed error message. But if I try write 00000000 or A1A1A1A1 using the nv_write, I get a message Success. ESN has been successfully changed. Please advise and thanks in advance.
