How to Unlock with Setool CID49 without Tp - Read here - GSM-Forum

I see that many people are killing their phones without knowing how to use setool

Here are 2 simple steps u need to follow:-

1. Unlock
2. Write Restoration File

Phone will be unlocked now!

Note:- if u do not write restoration file phone will end up dead

First of all you have to check that which version phone have,You can check it by clicking "Identify" in SETool.after this select the correct restoration file from "Rest" Folder and "unlock/Repair" and all done.

If the version is different from restoration file's version then you have to flash the phone with appropriate version and do the same procedure.

lead already posted the solution but no harm done in uploading it in a flash animation (doesnt have any text effects but has some nice sound and thats all)

this is CORRECT and SAFE.

we have not killed one phone with setool no TP new cid 49.

just make sure that restoration file version = phone firmware version

before unlocking or flashing.

u get restore file "rest" foder. u just check setool folder it have rest folder
