k750i not taking signal .plz assist - GSM-Forum

Hi everyone

i have a k750i in UK.
it is not taking any signal,could you please tell me what might be the problem and how to get that fixed.

i still havent got the phone, I am purchasing it from somone in the UK.
he said that it wasnt taking signal,so i wanted help.
please help me.

could be hardware or software problem, just try to flash with latest software, but the possiblity of beeing hardware problem is higher I think, try to replace antenna the network chip on the platine.

thanks for your help.
but how much would this antenna and the chip cost?
are you srue it could b a hardware problem?
I have USB-Smart and HWK and UFS.
SO if it is software I can resolve it.

have you concidered the fact that it may be BARRED-- BLACKLISTED if this is the case then its easy to solve.

i just know that it isnt taking signal.
what will the phone show if it is barred?(inactive sim?)
i dont think , it is showing all that.
just dont know what might be the problem.
is this an easy fix?

if you put vodaphone in it will show vodaphone on screen but wont make calls . o2 will simply show sim rejected. if you have nothing just searching all the time you probley have a phone which has been flashed unlocked and is now in a state which cant find a network.. i have repaired 1 of these with cruiser i tried for days with my HWK to no avail....

which tool would you recommend cruiser or usb-smart(semctool)?
