Yes free is a nice dream.....and who knows.....But 200-250 Euro is fair i think...with newest flashfiles and a litle support.

    best regards

    Standalone....

Main thing is "good support" every other thing is minor.....crackers....free solutions....price...

Maybe price for Setool2 in UFS like "standalone solution" for UFS users....will be little lower.....without buying new box....to be understood with good support from the_laser ....

    Regards
    Mackie

I really like setool, so having its power without any "server offline" problems would be great!

I think that 300$ should be a good price, something more than the current "server" solution but justified because it would not have problems related to server; it could also be slightly higher depending on how many new functions you are adding to it.

Anyway, remember to think about your old customers who already bought an unlimited account. It's hard to calculate how much money to ask, but I'd suggest to make different prices according to the date they have bought the logger

i.e. 50$ for new customers (up to 30 days before the standalone tool release), 100$ for others

Remote setool2 is good, I have a feeling that standalone setool2 is good only for a short time period and only for small groups of people.
We already have a good standalone solution, cruiser. We already have a good remote solution, setool2. Better to keep it that way.
This is just my humble opinion.

i believe that all need stand alone version. Cruiser is very expensive for all. I don't said release setool2 for free, but 150€-200€ is a good price.

Other importan questions is about setool server... can you manteinance? how many pp have unlimited access? are much questions, and aren't simple.
I'll pay 150€ (and i haven't enougth) for one Setools with a moderate support (new flashes, new soft version for new features)

    nice day

It is undeniable that we prefer standalone solution, but how long it will take until 'standalone setool' will become free for public like div, griffin, etc.? Laser cracked div, therefore there's no doubt that he can protect 'standalone seetool' better, but there are too many cases for f_u**e_d up standalone solution. When our standalone solution become free for public, then we will run out of business, good news only for sunday unlockers.
It was a good move when setool2 released features that cruiser didn't support, people won't wait for cruiser updates, they prefer to buy setool2 credits otherwise their customers will be gone.
IMHO, keep it remote & keep trying to one step ahead like what setool2 did. It'll not only protect seetool2, but also protect our business.

I wouldn't not pay more than 50-100$. The reason is that it will sooner or later be cracked, or other similar software is released.

    Hi

I don`t think that will be cracked.
Who will crack it when the only one who is able to crack it is the autor of the software

all thing can be hacked... but in that case it is more simple to write simular software than hack setool2 standalone... also note that there is no any hardware dongle/boxes except ufs2
    pure software protection

    ps.

    i can't hack it myself ;(

    @the_laser
Please concentrate on adding new features of your current setool2. Currently there are cruiser, nemesis, rocket, and soon pbb for standalone se solution and I believe more boxes will appear faster than what has happened in the past. The price of cruiser already dropped (unlockcellular sell fighter-cruiser-upgrade for $299 with free dhl shipping worldwide), zulea will give free se solution for pbb user, later all boxes' price will drop. I don't under-estimate the power of 'setool2 standalone', but with small difference in price I will choose cruiser instead (considering I don't have any boxes). That's the way it goes, I bought cruiser for advanced standalone solution and bought logger like setool2 for latest phone support.
    Just for you to consider...

    200 - 300EUR

It's obvious, seeing this thread, the poll will end up with 'release standalone setool2 with the cheapest price available in the option list'. It's like a father questioning all his children "do you want candy?". It's now the father who must decide the best for his children and save the whole family for the longest term possible.
Whatever the decision, I'm thanking the_laser for the job well done from the past till now.

setool2 ist great! a standalone version of the tool will make it more portable and mobile. i think you should take "the gold middle" of 250,- and everybody would be happy!
    regards to the programmer
