message capacity of the k750 - GSM-Forum

hi;
does anyone knows how to increase the message inbox capacity of the sony ericsson k750? i heard from somebody that it could be done by installing some software or something on the phone? i have soo much internal space on the phone but i cant using them to receive an sms, what a fool phone?

my old phone was a sony ericsson p900 and i had infinite sms capacity... if i can't do this thing, i think i'm gonna repair my old phone.. and also my phone can't zoom when the large picture size is selected in the camera? and i saw that older versions of my phone has the capability of making 4x zoom at every size of picture even 2megapixel. how can i solve those problems, thanx

you can remove the sms limit by doing the following
Use cruiser
And find pref_store.txt and change the content to /tpa and upload it back to the phone...

If you already have cruiser then just add me to messenger on:
[email protected]

But the camera zoom problem is a hw problem... I do not think there is so much you can do about it except change PCB...

no, i dont have a cruiser

isn't there any way to solve this problem without using extra devices, i just have card reader for the memory stick duo.(and also i have the original data cable) but if it's so required to do this thing, i think i can find one from ebay or somewhere else, is it a must to increase the capacity of the sms inbox? thanx

Ofcause no, if you do not remove the sms limit then the phone can hold 200 sms's... But it is a must before you can remove the limit, or go to the nearest unlocker
