    anyone solved this probelm yet?? i am having same problem with a T610. it was working fine but suddenly hanged up.after i took off battery and tried to switch it on its not working. first i tried to flash with R1L013 AVR and ARM. but it stop at 50% when flashing ARM with error 361C. then i tried R3C002 AVR and ARM ..now it can flash successfully but it cant power on phone. can't write GDFS or use any other option. it always gives error 4017. tried different pc with different OS , BIOS setting and DIV8.2 & DIV8.4.. but no result. pls help me if anyone solved this problem.

    Serach this forum and you will find a tool from Mr. the_laser called "T610_gdfs_writer". It is a tool to fix error 4016/4017 !

    but why ? when i ran the gdfs writer the dos screen pop up then went off i saw nothing????

    Run it from a dos box.
    start -> run -> type in "cmd" (or "command" on a Win9x box) and press enter (minus the quotes)
