    T610- some help plz

I recently bought a T610 from Phones 4U, i was told that it is a limited edition one (Metallic Blue cover) is this true or not? is there anyway that i can tell apart from colour of the cover?

also what does it mean by unlocking the phone? is it to make it network free so you can put any sim card in the phone? i have tried an O2 sim card as well as a T-Mobile and Orange sim card and all work fine, does this mean that the phone is unlocked?

    Thanks Tim
