Member: 129904 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 56 |  Huawei P30 Pro Short Circuit Did anyone get this trouble with P30 Pro? Customer brought the phone in dead state. I found there was short circuit on USB-C connector. But there was not subboard for fuse etc... Main flex from USB-C was directly to mainboard and almost all components were under the metal shields. Any idea? Thanks for advance. Petr |

Member: 59489 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 55 | I have a similar problem with the P20 Pro, i found the short being caused by a burnt voltage suppressor IC, check for shorts around the charging circuit on the motherboard, which would be under the shields. |
