failed to setup Fingerprint in Iphone 5S - GSM-Forum

hi friends.

i got an iphone 5s with brand new ,
whenever i try to setup fingerprint , getting the failure message

updated the OS to IOS 7.0.3 , but same

I noticed the problem while changing LCD in iphone 5S ,
i think apple have setup something in between its orginal lcd come with the phone and motherboad.

when i try with another orginal LCD unit (from another phone) , it wont work the fingerprint and vise reverse in another phone too

i tried in5 phones by changing the LCD unit , i m getting the error failed setup finger print ..
when i put its orginal LCD back it works

Did you tried to flash the phone without battery? If not then try to flash with oit battery

Why flash without battery. Is it a trick.

Without battery you cannot flash.

i've read in other thread that's related to the new security jst to stop ppl from changing the front face part to unlock te phone so there is a relation between fingerprint and the mother board

Button and corresponding chipset must go to new LCD when you change. All data is stored on chip and new ones will not work with different boards.

Thanks for your reply.
So are you 100% sure that the fingerprint reader will not work with other main boards?
Iv changed my customer broken LCD on iPhone 5S to a complete original one that i took off from a brand new phone but nothing (FAILED TO READ PRINT)

Tried to change, switch, even to restore the firmware but nothing helped.
Someone got another idea?
