Activate iPhone OS 4.0 Beta without UDID Registration - GSM-Forum

a.o.a and hi to all

1-download os 4.0 beta first and restore with itune 9.1.(restore not update)
2-Download the redsn0w 0.9.5 BETA2.
3-run redsnow and jailbreak the phone and wait for phone full reboot.
4-downlaod iphone browser and install.
5-run iPhone browser and open System/Library/CoreServices

6-Copy SystemVersion.plist to your desktop and open with wordpad and delete following lines.
<key>ReleaseType> /key>
<string>Beta< /string>

7-Save the file and drag it back into iPhone browser.
8-restart your iPhone and attach with itune and wait for activation.

Now you can activate it with iTunes. I`m not sure if this is always possible because I changed the Apple iTunes signature server to Saurik`s.

OS 4.0 Can not be loaded on a Windows system, this worked but i had to us my mac book to do the firmware upgrade
