how can i unlock iphone 2g 3.1.2 baseband 04.05.04_g

i upgrade iphone 2g to 3.1.2 but baseband steel in 04.05.04_g ; now i can't unlock it with blackr 1n , plz help

If your phone was unlocked before with firmware 3.0 or any 2.0, 2.1 or 2.2.1 and you upgraded it by mistake to 3.1 or 3.1.2 then you just need to jailbreak it with blackra1n and you're done. you don't need to unlock it again it should work just like that.

Hey Bro, follow these steps, I unlocked at least 15 2G with 3.1.2 SW
1. download the custom ipsw file
2. open itune but don't connect the iphone yet, turn your iphone off by holding the power button for 5 seconds

then slide the arrow and wait for it to off complete.
3. now hold the home button while connect to the itune, do not let go the home button till itune shows discover

iphone in recover mode, you have to restore before you can connect to itune, now you can let go the home

button
4. now just click on restore in itune, it will show itune is downloading and will restore your iphone when

download is completed, it will take 5-10 minutes to complete. ( this is the original apple file )
5. after itune finish restore, it will show itune can not activate your device cause no Sim

card..............something like that, don't do anything about it.
6. now open the blackra1n to jailbreak
7. when this is done, your iphone will show the emergency dial pads again just like before,
8. now you hold both power and home button together for 10 seconds, let go the power button and still hold

the home button till itune shows find your iphone in recover mode and you must restore.........then you can let

go the home button
9. now is the time that you press the shift on your keyboard and click on restore, make sure you choose the

ipsw file, when it finish this time, after reboot, you will see that screen shows flashing bootloader, after this it

will reboot one more time
10. now put your Sim card back in and it will show searching first then the signal bars and provider's name

after searching, now the screen should be back to normal with all the icons

juste downgrade to 3.0 and continue process for this firmware version. i juste realize one right now

itunes 9.0.2.25 + restore orig firmware 3.12 + jailbreak with blackra1n ( not install blacksnow) +restore custom firmware 3.12 in recovry mode (not dfu mode) 100% working

OTHER WAY TO DO IT.

1. UPDATE, RESTORE TO ORIGINAL 3.1.2
2. RUN BLACKRA1N (WWW.BLACKRA1N.COM).
-DONT DO ANYTHING ON PHONE
3. PUT IN RECOVERY MODE (NOT DFU)
4. RESTORE TO THE CUSTOM FIRMWARE THAT I POSTED IN THE FIRST POST OF THIS THREAD.

ENJOY UNLOCKED, ACTIVATED, JAILBROKEN IPHONE 2G.
