How to downgrade boot-loader from 08.09 to 05.08

Dear all friends:
i tried to downgrade baseband from 05.12.01 to 04.24.05 but not successful coz all the iphone 3g that have bootloader higher than 05.08 we can't downgrade & unlock.

How to downgrade boot-loader from 08.09 to 05.08?

please help me?

all your idea are helpful though it solve this problem or not?
