Iphone 2g error 13 - GSM-Forum

i tried to restore 2g with 3.1.2 but it stops with error 13 at preparing for restore.what may be the problem.before it was 2.2.1 and no service offcourse.

I had this problem once with a 2g, I had to open the iphone to take a load on the battery, was in test mode and not picked up the load.

should i open the fone and charge the battery externally.now the fone is in recovery mode.pls some one help in this regard as the fone working well before.

1. you must open the device
2. should check the battery charge.
3. Ideally voltage 3.8 v
5. to make a good update without errors
