iphone 3g v3.1 and modem firmware 5.11.08 is not supoorted at this time only iphone 2g can unlock as of now.

It also looks very unlikely that the 3GS will ever be able to be unlocked if you've updated the baseband. Jailbreak is still possible though...

3g v3.1 or v3.01 with baseband 05.11.07 as long as bootloader is 5.08 , unlock is no problem

you sure? Iphone 3G with v3.1 software and baseband 05.11.07 can be unlocked? i mean UNLOCKING not jailbreaking.

I think he could be right - i think its only the 3GS that can not be unlocked once updated to 05.11.07 etc. But i could be wrong

3g with bootloader 5.08 downgrade with fuzzyband the radio, then use ultrasn0w for unlock. (its old story)
