iphone 3gs how to restore - GSM-Forum

hi
i have one iphone 3gs that is version 3.0.1 modem firmware 04.26.08

i want to restore to to 3.0.1 from itunes.. because i m having some software problem.. now i have read about some changes to host file.. i have done that..and download itunes 8 when i restore i get error (3002)

any one can help me with this one cheers

with the changes of the host file

3gs stuck in restore mode, v3.0 , cant restore it with v3.0 , always error 3002 ,
it is still 3.0 , should I try with 3.1 file? please help, tnx

dont try with 3.1 cause after update to version 3.1 u will not be able to unlockur phone

got it fixed by just doing a jailbreak via redsn0w 0.8, all back as it was b4.
