Question iphone 3Gs : No network [Hardware Problem]

hi mates

am trying to solve this one up without success. Tried replacing the PA and antenna switch... still the same. Cannot call 112.

Did custom firmware.... starts searching... and then No Service. It is 100% hardware related.

Anyone have any experience on this issue pls?

Please do not reply with do restore or use blackrain etc etc as all these have been tried and no success.

thanks for any help

same problem with my iphone 3g ...no signal
i think its firmware related and not hardware ....because if you have changed the antenna and it still does not work it means that its software related.
check the baseband modem version, it shouls be 5.12.01 ,if yes you will have to wait as there is no unlocking solution at the moment

what is the 3310 trick?

baseband is 5.11.07. It is hardware related as there is Searching... shown going on. when it is a software problem it will just shows Searching... for a split of a second and then nothing. Also if it is software related if not mistaken it will call 112. so that leaves only 1 problem source....

hardware ...damn

I have also not wifi found problem. I did all reset, firmware update and others. Few other include when it is cooled it does shows available wifi. But does not last for long. Also it just shows Searching... for a split of a second and then nothing. Also it can call 112.
Does it software related or Hardware related? Without wifi for now 2-3 months. Please help.

the reception problem is software related. (not much you can do as you ll need to rewrite the baseband). The wifi is hardware related. Out of 10 i am getting 4 (and counting) with this wifi problem too. Is quality control sleeping? or is it a bad design? Funnily enough even the first model of the iPad is suffering from this same problem.
