Member: 259742 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 215 | iphone in recovry mode, itunes errors what should be done How to Put an iPhone Into DFU Mode DFU means Device Firmware Update. If a restore using Recovery Mode doesn't work you will want to use DFU Mode as a last resort. When placing your iPhone into DFU Mode it does not load the OS before attempting the restore Watch the Video! For your convenience this tutorial is available in video format also. Click the Watch It button to view the tutorial! To put the iPhone into DFU mode so you can do an iTunes firmware restore follow these steps: Step One Open iTunes and connect the iPhone to your pc Step Two Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time. Step Three After exactly 10 seconds release the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button until you iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. The iPhone screen will remain black like this: NOTE***: It may take a few attempts to get your iPhone into DFU mode. Generally, I hold down both buttons then release the Home button just before I think the Apple logo would appear. If you are still holding both buttons down and you see the Apple logo you are holding them down for too long! after that itunes will detect ur phone, then try to restore with customised firmware |

Member: 269035 Status: Offline Sonork: 1,618,0786 Thanks Meter: 301 | i will do this >> iPhone Error 1015 and 1013 during Downgrade Let it restore and eventually you will get a "Unknown error occurred" (1015). Now you have a 1.1.1 iPhone with the 1.1.2 modem firmware. Now you need to enter DFU restore mode.Hold home and sleep buttons and when the screen turns black let go of sleep and keep holding home. iTunes will recognise this and you will hold shift and click restore and navigate to 1.0.2 firmware files. Let it restore and you will get a "Unknown error occurred" (1013) and the yellow triangle should pop up. The hard bit is over - you're nearly there! is it ok ?? |
