when i power off and power on later i have not signal.
one of my friend make 2 iphone 3g 16gb orange it was ok,
same steps mine is not ok, mine it was a very old version 2.02
my friend have newer versions

i have one 8gb version, sim invalid, no signal, not working neither.
maybe is diferent from version it was before update.
why on some people is ok and another is not. something is different on iphone.
yes for me it is the same, if i turn off the phone and turn on again i have no signal anymore. So the trick for me is to put the sim in power on phone or to switch some second in plane mode.
anyway i thinks its possible to write a script for reset baseband in the power on routine.correct me if i am wrong.
